Africa WorldWide Group (AWG) is an African think tank focused on strategy and development, based in Dakar, Senegal.
AWG supports African governments and public administrations in designing and implementing public policies that contribute to achieving the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
The institution also works to promote greater alignment between the United Nations 2030 Agenda and the African Union’s Agenda 2063, “The Africa We Want”, with the aim of connecting international development objectives with Africa’s own priorities and development trajectories.
More broadly, AWG focuses on strategic, geostrategic, geoeconomic and development issues affecting Africa, contributing to policy thinking and decision-making around the continent’s development and its evolving position in the global economy.
