Tunisia Telecom (TT) and Vodafone, the British telecom giant, concluded this Tuesday, July 10 in Tunis, a partnership agreement.
The agreement enables Vodafone to provide strategic and operational support in the areas of technology, procurement and services to businesses and individuals.
The collaboration spans three years and will affect other services such as roaming and international inter-carrier relations.
Teams from Tunisie Telecom and Vodafone will work to identify further avenues of collaboration for the benefit of customers of both partners.
According to Mohamed Fadhel Kraiem, President and CEO of Tunisie Telecom, “This is the first partnership sealed by Vodafone in North Africa and the Maghreb region”.
The partnership will provide TT with more efficient solutions for multinationals based in Tunisia and all Tunisian companies.
Thus, it will be able to offer more competitive roaming services for the benefit of our compatriots while traveling in countries where Vodafone and its partners are present.
The Tunisian operator will also benefit from the technological transfer of Vodafone and will thus be able to achieve economies of scale which will be noted during our purchases of telecommunication equipment.
Vodafone Group is one of the largest telecommunications groups in the world providing a range of services including voice, messaging, data and fixed communications.
It operates in 25 countries and has mobile operators with mobile network partners in 47 countries, as well as fixed broadband operations in 18 markets.
