The Director-General of SCG-Ré, Dr. Andrew GWODOG, took part in the Combined General Meeting of Fegasa (Gabonese Federation of Insurance Companies) held on July 13, 2018, for the purpose of deliberating on the one hand, on an extraordinary basis, on the adoption of the new statutes and on the other hand, on an ordinary basis, on the following agenda:
1- Election of the new President and the Office Director; 2- Adoption of the 2017 accounts and adoption of the 2018 budget; 3- Release of the Amiable Statement; 4- Reflection of the Pool TV; 5- Automobile Guarantee Fund; 6- Rose card; 7- Miscellaneous.
At the end of the works, following the adoption of the new statutes of the FEGASA, the SCG-Ré which was “Associate Member” became “Member by right” of the FEGASA.
By this quality, the SCG-Re represented by Dr. Andrew GWODOG presented his candidacy for the position of President of the FEGASA and this candidacy received the unanimous approval of all the insurance companies, members of the FEGASA . She succeeds SAHAM Assurance, represented by Mr. Youssef BENABDALLAH.
The other members of the Bureau were also elected and took office immediately. The new executive office of FEGASA is composed as follows:

The projects that will be addressed by the new office during this mandate are:
At the national level:
1- Amiable statement;
2- Guarantee background;
3- TPV Pool;
4- Promotion of the Insurance and Reinsurance sector;
5- Acceleration of the pace of payment of claims;
6- Establishment of the 2018-2020 plan for the development of the insurance and reinsurance sector in Gabon;
7- Training plan of the insurers of the sector;
8- Support of the insurers to the development of Gabon.
On an international scale :
1- Development of the insurance sector for positioning in 3rd place;
2- Organization of the general assembly of FANAF in Gabon in 2020;
3- Presentation of Gabon’s candidacy for the presidency of FANAF;
4- Partnership with supervisory authorities and African insurance organizations.
