Ghana recorded approximately $2.61 billion in investments spread across 253 projects in the year 2025. This performance was officially announced by the Governor of the Bank of Ghana (BoG), Dr. Johnson Pandit Asiama, on August 21, 2026, during the presentation of the 2025 Investment Annual Report of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) in Accra.
These financial flows demonstrate that the country continues to attract significant strategic interest from international investors, despite a global climate marked by persistent economic uncertainties and a widespread decline in investments in many regions of the world. According to the Bank of Ghana, these results reflect the country’s transition from a phase of instability to a much stronger macroeconomic framework.
This improvement comes after a particularly challenging period for the Ghanaian economy. Among the main challenges overcome or in the process of stabilization are severe inflation, recurrent exchange rate pressures, and tightening global financing conditions.
The significant decrease in inflation today underscores the effectiveness of the structural reforms carried out by the financial authorities. By restoring the confidence of economic actors and stabilizing its fundamentals, Ghana once again asserts itself as a preferred destination for foreign capital in West Africa.
