The Insurance and Social Welfare Supervisory Authority (ACAPS) has announced the launch of “Fintech Booster – Ideation”, a program dedicated to innovative projects in the fintech field in Morocco. This initiative is part of the actions of the Morocco Fintech Center (MFC), aiming to structure and energize the national fintech ecosystem by supporting projects from the early stages of their development.
The program offers a structured support system allowing participants to consolidate their thinking and build their model. It includes group sessions, individual coaching, access to various expertise, and a network of key ecosystem players. Post-program follow-up is also planned to support project maturation and scaling.
In this context, ACAPS highlights the lessons from the first edition of the “Emergence” program, focused on the digitization of the insurance sector. Presented in a dedicated report, these works are an essential reference for project holders wishing to engage in this dynamic.
The Morocco Fintech Center is an association created by several institutions, including authorities, regulators, and public and private organizations, to promote the development and use of financial technologies and improve their accessibility. The MFC aims to be a common gateway for fintechs, support their development through support, incubation, and acceleration programs, and facilitate their understanding of the regulatory environment and access to funding.
