A study conducted by the agency D-Rating, specialized in rating the digital performance of companies, has just classified CFG Bank and Al Barid Bank as the best digital banks in Morocco.
In this study entitled “Are the Moroccan retail banks digital? “The digital customer experience of 10 Moroccan banks was scrutinized.
Three main conclusions emerge: CFG Bank is the best in the web rankings, Al Barid Bank is the best in terms of mobile applications and CIH Bank is the only Moroccan bank to be in the top 3 of the two rankings.
According to D-Rating, the two banks devoted in this study were ranked first for two criteria: the web and mobile applications, two main elements of the digital customer relationship.
In the Web category, CFG Bank scored 32 out of 50, followed by BMCI (29) and CIH (25). For mobile applications, it is Al Barid Bank that stands out with a score of 32 out of 50, CIH Bank comes in second (29), followed by Attijariwafa Bank (25). The CIH bank is, moreover, the only bank to appear in the top 3 of the two rankings.
The study emphasizes that “CIH appears in the top 3 of the two rankings and is positioned as the bank with the highest level of use of digital channels in its relationship with prospects and customers.
