On 9 March 2026, Africa Global Logistics (AGL) Congo successfully transported 19 oversized modules by road from Pointe Noire to Brazzaville. These prefabricated structural modules are intended for the construction of a regional infrastructure project in Brazzaville. They measure between 9 and 17 metres long, 3 to 4.20 metres high and 3.50 to 4.50 metres wide.
The company handled the unloading of all the modules and associated equipment at the port of Pointe-Noire, the storage of the prefabricated units in its secure facilities and the special transport to the construction site in Brazzaville.
‘We drew on the expertise of our technical teams to modify trailers and adapt them to the exceptional dimensions of the modules entrusted to us by the customer, in strict compliance with the manufacturer’s safety standards and the regulatory requirements of the certification agencies,’ explains Yann PICARD, Technical and Equipment Director.
This was an exceptional logistics operation that highlighted the expertise of AGL’s teams in handling and transporting oversized cargo. This expertise was enhanced by the ongoing training provided to employees, their ability to adapt to unexpected circumstances, effective coordination between all parties involved, and strict compliance with safety rules.
With its specialized teams, adapted equipment, and network of logistics platforms, Africa Global Logistics Congo was able to ensure a smooth, secure operation that met the project’s requirements.
