Africa Global Logistics Congo was awarded the CSR 2025 prize during a QHSE seminar organized by the Group, bringing together all representatives of this department in the countries where it is present, totaling more than 60 French and English-speaking collaborators. This trophy is awarded annually to one of the entities of the AGL group to reward its outstanding performance in implementing the group’s CSR policy.
This distinction rewards the strong commitment of the Congolese subsidiaries of Africa Global Logistics to stakeholders and the numerous impactful actions carried out by each entity: AGL Congo and Congo Terminal.
The strengths of the Congo team highlighted by the deliberation committee are the involvement of AGL group companies in Congo, as well as the quality and timeliness of the reporting of launched initiatives.
“At AGL, CSR is an integral part of our identity and strategy. We are committed every day to building a responsible company, respectful of its environment, its employees, and the communities around us,” said Olivier Restoueix, QHSE & CSR Director of the AGL group.
“This recognition highlights the consideration and involvement of our companies in key issues for our country, such as the environment, education, and inclusion. We are proud to be part of a group that works for its development and the preservation of its ecosystem,” said Raissa Dekambi, RSE, Quality, and Compliance Manager of AGL Congo.
The CSR commitment of the AGL Group is concretely reflected in the obtaining of the Ecovadis silver medal, environmental certifications such as ISO 14001, and the Green Terminal label on our terminals.
AGL also works to ensure safe working conditions for its employees with the implementation of the Zero Accident Plan. The company also carries out solidarity actions towards the surrounding communities (education, inclusion, environment). Its sustainable commitment is based on 3 key pillars: promoting the decarbonization of logistics and protecting our blue planet; encouraging inclusive trade; addressing societal challenges. AGL’s employees are all actors in this approach, which aims to reconcile performance, positive impact, and a sense of belonging.
