Orascom Construction PLC announced an increase in NNS City’s stake in its capital, following the acquisition of approximately 1.13 million shares, representing 1.03% of the total capital, according to a statement on Thursday, April 16. Following this transaction, NNS City’s stake increased from 12.87 million shares (11.68%) to approximately 14 million shares, or 12.7% of the share capital.
At the same time, Nassef Sawiris’ overall stake, through NNS City and its affiliated entities, also increased from 46.69 million shares (42.36%) to 47.83 million shares, or 43.39% of the total.
This development reflects the confidence of major investors in the group’s prospects and could contribute to supporting the stability of the stock in the medium term.
