N’Djamena, Chad – June 19, 2025. Coris Bank International officially launched its brand in Chad on June 18, 2025, marking a strategic step in strengthening its pan-African presence and commitment to financial inclusion.
The launch ceremony was held under the presidency of Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, President of the Republic, Head of State, represented on this occasion by Mr. Tahir Hamid Nguilin, Minister of State, Minister of Finance, Budget, Economy, Planning and International Cooperation.
The event brought together a wide range of personalities: government representatives, diplomats, economic actors, financial partners, as well as members of the national and international press.
Coris Bank International Chad aims to become a key player in local economic development by offering a comprehensive, innovative and accessible banking offer to individuals, SMEs, large companies, and investors.
“The official launch of Coris Bank International in Chad does not just represent a geographical extension. It reflects our desire to support the national economic dynamics by supporting entrepreneurs, young talents, and structuring projects. Meanwhile, Diakarya Ouattara, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group, emphasized:

This new opening marks the Group’s first foray into the CEMAC zone, after firmly establishing its presence in the eight UEMOA countries and in Guinea. It is part of a pan-African strategy aiming to build an integrated, inclusive, and efficient banking market serving the development of the continent.
