Conakry: Second Anniversary of the Compagnie du TransGuinéen (CTG)
The President of the Strategic Committee of Simandou, Mr. Djiba Diakité, appointed by decree of the President of the Republic to implement the Simandou project, hereby informs you of a forum for exchange with all financial and economic actors and development partners of Guinea, to be held on the occasion of the celebration of the 2nd anniversary of the TransGuinean Company (CTG) on July 29th and 30th in Conakry.
The President of the Republic of Guinea, His Excellency General of the Army Corps Mamadi Doumbouya, has succeeded in bringing together the various stakeholders of the project (the Guinean State and its industrial partners, namely Winning Consortium Simandou, Baowu Steel Group, and Rio-Tinto) in the framework of co-developing the rail and port infrastructures of Simandou to create a joint infrastructure company named “the TransGuinean Company (CTG S.A)”.
This event will mark an important milestone in the development of the Simandou project. The forum will offer the opportunity to discover the progress made on-site, particularly the construction of major rail and port infrastructures, and to explore economic prospects for Guinea.
You will have the chance to interact with key stakeholders of the project, including representatives of the Guinean State and its industrial partners, about the expectations and impacts of this crucial development program for the country’s future.
