Recently promoted as Director of Business Development & Marketing at SOAGA, Jocelyne GBAH embodies a generation of financial leaders committed to the concrete transformation of the West African ecosystem. A commercial engineer, certified in HEC Paris Finance & Business Strategy, certified in AMF France Financial Markets Regulation, graduate of ITB CFPB France, she also intervenes at ITB in training bank executives in banking, finance, and market professions.
For over ten years, she has been working with a clear conviction: finance creates value only when it becomes understandable, accessible, and useful to the population. Far from an exclusively institutional approach, she chooses to be on the ground, in direct contact with savers, especially women, who are still too often far from investment tools. Her distinctive mark lies in a rare ability: to translate the complexity of financial markets into the language of each audience, whether institutional, corporate partners, or the general public, without ever compromising technical rigor.
At the crossroads of strategic thinking and close pedagogy, this hybrid approach has contributed to the influence of the stock exchange in the UEMOA zone and beyond, while accelerating the democratization of structured savings. For Jocelyne GBAH, the challenge goes beyond mere financial performance: it is about giving populations, especially women, the concrete means to build their economic autonomy and their wealth trajectory. “Finance should not intimidate. It should empower.”
