The construction materials giant officially changes its identity. Gathered at the General Assembly on May 22, 2026, the shareholders of Holcim Morocco approved the transition from LafargeHolcim Morocco to Holcim Morocco. Beyond a simple rebranding, this evolution reflects the strategic alignment of the Moroccan subsidiary with the international Holcim group and supports the new ambitions of the construction sector in Morocco.
A new chapter begins for Holcim Morocco. The group’s shareholders officially approved the change of corporate name from LafargeHolcim Morocco to Holcim Morocco. This decision, adopted at the mixed General Assembly on May 22, 2026, is part of a strategy to harmonize the group’s identity globally. Holcim seeks to strengthen the coherence of its international brand while consolidating its positioning in the Moroccan construction materials market.
Present in Morocco since 1928, the group remains one of the main industrial players in the Kingdom in cement, concrete, and sustainable construction solutions. The company is still mainly owned by a joint venture between the Holcim group and Al Mada.
This change comes in the context of strong financial performance. In 2025, the group recorded a consolidated turnover of 8.936 billion dirhams, up by 9.6%, driven by the increase in cement sales and the development of ready-mix concrete.
Shareholders also approved the accounts for the 2025 financial year, marked by a net social profit of nearly 1.94 billion dirhams, as well as the distribution of an ordinary dividend of 96 dirhams per share.
Beyond the symbol, this transformation mainly reflects the changes in the Moroccan construction sector. Between major infrastructure projects, accelerated urbanization, and rising environmental requirements, Holcim Morocco aims to strengthen its positioning around low-carbon construction solutions and sustainable construction.
