In June 2025, monthly inflation in Egypt slightly decreased by 0.1%, after a surge of 9.1% observed in May, according to the latest data published by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS). This decline is mainly due to the decrease in prices of several basic food items.
