At the end of its meeting on March 13, 2026, the Board of Directors of Assurances Maghrébia S.A, founded in 1973 and whose purpose is to carry out all insurance and reinsurance operations in Tunisia and abroad, proposed to the Ordinary General Meeting (AGM) of May 15, 2026 the distribution of a total dividend of 13.050 million dinars (4.437 million dollars), announced the leaders of this company based in Tunis.
Based on the 4,500,000 shares that make up the company’s share capital, the dividend per share amounts to 2.900 dinars payable from June 8, 2026.
The financial statements of the company approved by the Board of Directors highlight a profit of 26.093 million dinars compared to 28.362 million dinars in 2024, a decrease of 8%.
During the period under review, the turnover increased by 11%, reaching 300.654 million dinars compared to 272.046 million dinars in 2024.
The pre-tax profit also increased by 7.54%, from 35.597 million dinars on December 31, 2024 to 38.293 million dinars a year later.
The Board of Directors also decided to convene an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on May 15, 2026 and to propose an increase in the share capital by incorporating reserves, raising the capital from 45,000,000 dinars to 55,000,000 dinars. This capital increase will result in the issuance of 1,000,000 free shares with a nominal value of 10 dinars each, allocated at a rate of 2 new free shares for every 9 old shares with entitlement from January 1, 2026.
