Since 2009, SEPHIS, an organization funded by GIZ, has firmly established itself as a strategic player in the growth of women-led SMEs in sub-Saharan Africa and beyond, with 80% of its activities focused on agribusiness. By providing critical support, training, and technical assistance, the Foundation has contributed to the growth of thousands of businesses, enhancing their structure and visibility. This support has facilitated access to new markets and financing opportunities, strategically positioning these businesses within the private sector. Since last year, through its partnership with ECOBANK, the foundation has granted loans totaling more than 1.5 million euros to women entrepreneurs. This year, it has mobilized 10 million euros in lines of credit with four financial institutions to strengthen its impact in Côte d’Ivoire, Togo, and Senegal.
