Casablanca, July 3, 2025 – Hajar Benyachou and Pierre Deprez announce the creation of SILA LAW FIRM in Casablanca, an independent legal advisory firm specializing in business law. This new firm aims to become a strategic partner of choice for large national and international groups, investors, executives, SMEs, and startups engaged in growth, digitalization, or structuring dynamics.
SILA LAW FIRM was born from the merger of LYS LAW, founded by Hajar Benyachou, a legal expert specializing in corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, and Venture Capital, and DEPREZ ADVISORS, founded by Pierre Deprez, a lawyer at the Paris Bar specializing in digital law, intellectual property, and economic law (competition and distribution).
Driven by a common vision of a modern, rigorous, and innovative firm, Hajar Benyachou and Pierre Deprez offer their clients tailored strategic support based on a collaborative approach and in line with the best international standards.
A clear positioning: rigor, proximity, agility
“We wanted to create a firm that combines the rigor and excellence of large international firms with the agility, cultural proximity, and availability of a human-sized firm,” explains Hajar Benyachou. “As Morocco is going through an unprecedented period in terms of investment and development prospects, SILA LAW FIRM positions itself as a strategic partner for Moroccan, international, and pan-African companies looking to structure their activities and secure their investment operations.”
“‘SILA,’ which means ‘relationship’ in Arabic, embodies our philosophy and vision of the firm: building a relationship of trust, proximity, and sustainability with our clients by supporting them on their operational, contractual, or strategic challenges. In a context of accelerated digital transformation, our goal is also to provide clear and agile legal solutions to innovative companies, fully integrating their technological, cultural, and economic specificities,” added Pierre Deprez.
Two founders with complementary backgrounds
Hajar Benyachou, a graduate of Paris Dauphine and Paris Descartes, has been assisting companies and executives in Morocco for several years in structuring their operational legal needs. She also works with executives, shareholders, and investors in the context of company sales, acquisitions, or restructuring, across all sectors. Actively involved in the current entrepreneurial dynamics, Hajar is also active in the startup and venture capital ecosystem. She supports investors, innovative companies, or growing SMEs in their fundraising, structuring their funding rounds, and securing their legal development. Pierre Deprez, a lawyer at the Paris Bar, holds degrees from the University of Berkeley and the University Paris II Panthéon-Assas. He mainly works in the fields of digital law, intellectual property, and economic law, particularly with large Moroccan and international companies in the technological, industrial, outsourcing, and cultural sectors. Pierre Deprez dedicates a significant part of his activity to supporting innovative companies, especially in the IT sector, in structuring their contractual, commercial, or technological relationships.
