Founded in 2006 as part of the Barcelona Process / Euromed Partnership, ANIMA is a non-profit association working in the public interest. Its mission is to promote economic development in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, while integrating social and environmental responsibility.
The network brings together around 70 member organizations from 20 countries and relies on more than 400 experts and partners. Its members include business networks, investment and export promotion agencies, public agencies responsible for international economic cooperation, as well as companies, entrepreneurs, international organizations, ministries, and diaspora actors.
The association’s headquarters is located in Marseille, with a regional office in Morocco.
