In 2025, the Conakry Ahmed Sékou Touré International Airport recorded a significant increase in all its operational activities, according to data published by the General Directorate of Airports of Guinea last week. Passenger traffic reached 957,820 travelers, compared to 788,879 in 2024, representing a 21.4% increase. This evolution confirms a sustained dynamic of attendance at the Guinean airport platform.
The volume of freight handled saw the highest increase during the year, rising from 5,012 tons to 9,290 tons, representing an 85.3% growth in one year. This evolution is accompanied by an intensification of aircraft movements, which rose to 13,067 in 2025, compared to 10,970 the previous year, representing a 19.1% increase.
These performances bring the Conakry Ahmed Sékou Touré International Airport closer to the threshold of one million annual passengers and reflect a strengthening of its functions in transporting people and goods. The simultaneous increase in passenger traffic and freight demonstrates an overall strengthening of airport activity during the past year.
