Salim Raiss has been appointed General Manager Morocco for all entities of AGL (Africa Global Logistics) in Morocco. His mission will be to lead the development of the company’s activities in Morocco and strengthen its position in this strategic market.
This appointment is part of the company’s overall strategy to strengthen its presence in the region, especially to launch and support the growth related to the numerous investment projects planned in the Kingdom in the coming years.
An engineer in agri-food industries in France, Salim Raiss began his career in the agri-food industry, notably at Unilever and Danone, before joining the chemical sector at DuPont de Nemours. He held several key positions, including Industrial Project Manager, R&D Project Director, and Commercial Director.
With this expertise, he created the Moroccan subsidiary of the Azelis group, an international player in the distribution of chemical products, where he also held various management positions for 10 years before becoming the Regional General Manager for French-speaking Africa. In this role, he successfully led several integrated logistics projects, notably in Antwerp for export flows to more than 20 countries in the EMEA region, as well as in Tanger Med.
