On July 31, 2025, Orabank officially inaugurated a new premium agency in the heart of Almadies, a prestigious neighborhood in Dakar favored by the economic and diplomatic elites. This strategic opening marks a new step in the upscale development of the banking network in Senegal, with the stated ambition of attracting a wealthy clientele composed of executives, entrepreneurs, and high-income individuals.
Located on the prestigious Almadies road, the agency aims to showcase the group’s premium offering, combining contemporary design, refined customer space, and personalized services. It targets individuals with high potential and business leaders seeking wealth management advice, investment solutions, and tailor-made financing.
A physical presence in a strategic neighborhood
For Rokhaya Niang, the agency manager, this establishment “is the result of rigorous collective work, with the aim of offering a unique experience to demanding clientele. We want to offer more than just a banking service: a human, reliable, and personalized support.”
The agency also stands out for its integration of cutting-edge technologies and high-end services, meeting international standards in private banking. The goal is to make this address a reference in wealth management and strategic advice in Senegal.
Present at the ceremony, former Senegalese international player Ferdinand Coly, a client of Orabank, enthusiastically welcomed the initiative. “Premium service is what we expect when managing large projects. We need listening, responsiveness. Orabank ticks all the boxes, and we look forward to testing their range of services – with a little money, though,” he joked.
Significant growth indicators
Julien Koffi, General Manager of Orabank Senegal, took the opportunity to highlight the subsidiary’s good results: a total balance sheet of over 1,660 billion CFA francs (2.53 billion euros) at the end of 2024, deposits increasing to 1,300 billion CFA francs (1.98 billion euros) as of June 30, 2025, and stable social capital at 69 billion CFA francs (105 million euros).
Present in about ten countries in West and Central Africa, Orabank is pursuing in Senegal a qualitative expansion strategy based on digitalization, financial inclusion, and personalized customer relationships. With its new anchor point in Almadies, the group strengthens its position in the premium segment and aims to become a key player for demanding clientele looking for tailor-made banking solutions.
