“GTA Assurances, a subsidiary of the Banque Centrale Populaire (BCP) Group, has handed over two modern sanitary blocks to the public primary schools Centrale C/E and Gadjanga, located respectively in the prefectures of Blitta and Agou.
Intended for more than 1,400 students, this program aims to ensure a healthy and inclusive educational environment, an essential factor for academic success, especially for young girls.
This action is part of the three-year community engagement plan launched in 2022 by GTA Assurances, in partnership with the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education of Togo. It reflects GTA Assurances’ commitment to sustainably support public policies that promote better access to education and hygiene, as well as enhanced security in schools.
The official handover ceremonies took place on June 12 and 13, in the presence of Mr. André A. AZIBLI, Managing Director of GTA Assurances, as well as local administrative, traditional, and educational authorities.
With these two new developments, six schools located in the prefectures of Lacs, Kozah, Blitta, and Agou now have modern sanitary facilities. Each block includes four individual cabins, designed to ensure hygienic conditions to the highest standards, promoting a healthy environment conducive to learning.
In line with the Group’s fundamental values, this action demonstrates GTA Assurances’ civic commitment, prioritizing high-impact, sustainable, and community-building initiatives.”
