The measure is included in several decrees signed on June 18, 2026 by the Minister of Modernization of Administration and Civil Service, Faya Fran\u00e7ois Bourouno.<\/p>\n<p>According to the information provided, 4,906 employees are dismissed for desertion. The other 219 cases concern civil servants who have exceeded the legal duration of five years provided for in a placement on leave.<\/p>\n<p>This operation concerns several sectors of the administration, including the presidency of the Republic as well as the ministries of Education, Health, Justice, Foreign Affairs, Security, Environment, and Tourism.<\/p>\n<p>Before their final dismissal, the employees in question had been subject to a provisional suspension of three months.
