“The West African Studies and Works Company (SETAO), a subsidiary of the Bouygues group specializing in consulting and engineering services in the field of Construction and Public Works (BTP), significantly reduced its deficit by 72.26% at the end of the 2025 fiscal year compared to 2024, announced the leaders of this company based in Abidjan.<\/p>\n

This deficit thus decreased from -348.195 million CFA francs (-626,751 dollars) on December 31, 2024 to -96.558 million CFA francs (-173,804 dollars) on December 31, 2025. Compared to December 31, 2023 where it stood at -1.117 billion CFA francs, SETAO has significantly reduced its deficit by 91.35%.<\/p>\n

As for turnover, other income and transfer of charges, there was a significant increase of 116.25%, rising from 1.793 billion CFA francs in 2024 to 3.878 billion CFA francs during the period under review.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the company’s purchasing and expenses increased by 1.477 billion CFA francs, reaching 3.724 billion CFA francs compared to 2.247 billion CFA francs in 2024.<\/p>\n

As for the value added, it amounted to +154.189 million CFA francs compared to -454 million CFA francs on December 31, 2024.<\/p>\n

Personnel expenses were reduced by 39.15% during the period under review, decreasing from 1.321 billion CFA francs in 2024 to 804.321 million CFA francs.<\/p>\n

SETAO also significantly reduced the deficit of the gross operating surplus, which stands at -650.132 million CFA francs compared to -1.775 billion CFA francs in 2024.<\/p>\n

The deficit of the operating result also decreased from -1.007 billion CFA francs on December 31, 2024 to -772 million CFA francs on December 31, 2025.<\/p>\n

At the end of the period under review, SETAO’s financial result shows a balance of 227.009 million CFA francs compared to a balance of 85.321 million CFA francs in 2024, representing a 166.06% increase.<\/p>\n

The result of ordinary activities shows a deficit balance of -545 million CFA francs compared to a deficit balance of -923 million CFA francs on December 31, 2024.<\/p>\n

As for the result before tax, it is positive at 4.341 million CFA francs compared to a deficit of -337.090 million CFA francs in 2024.”<\/p>\n
