In South Africa, revenue increased by only 2% in a mature and competitive market.<\/p>\n<p>Buoyed by these results, the board of directors announced a dividend of 5.00 rand per share (0.28 USD), up 45% from the previous year, and a share buyback program of 6 billion rand (330 million USD) starting in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The overall performance of the group in 2025 was excellent, marking the final year of our Ambition 2025 strategy,&#8221; said Ralph Mupita, CEO of MTN Group.<\/p>\n<p>The group now serves 307.2 million subscribers, including 172.6 million data users and 70 million Mobile Money customers.
