He will succeed Fatai Folarin, who will be stepping down at the end of May after a transition period.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to this appointment, Yomi Olugbenro was the Tax Leader for West Africa and a Senior Partner at Deloitte. He is known for his expertise in corporate taxation, transfer pricing, regulatory advisory, and tax litigation, and has led cross-border operations and compliance for large corporations. He has also represented the private sector in discussions on Nigerian tax reform.<\/p>\n<p>A graduate in accounting with an MBA from the University of Manchester, Olugbenro is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
