Vista Group Holding, a pan-African financial services group, announces the completion of the acquisition of 99.99% of the capital of Saham Assurances Niger, now renamed Vista Assurances Niger, according to a statement released on Thursday, February 12. This strategic operation marks a new step in the structuring of the group’s insurance division and fits into its vision of building an integrated financial ecosystem combining banking and insurance.<\/p>\n

The stated objective is clear: to expand access to financial protection solutions for individuals, businesses, and institutions, while consolidating a consistent and efficient regional offering.<\/p>\n

Already present in the sector through Vista Assurances Guinea and Vista Assurances Burkina Faso, the group is thus strengthening its presence in West Africa and consolidating an insurance network that it wants to be modern, inclusive, and customer-oriented.<\/p>\n

For Simon Tiemtore, President of Vista Group Holding, this acquisition reflects a long-term ambition. “Insurance is an essential lever for economic and social resilience. With Vista Assurances Niger, we want to democratize access to protection, strengthen trust in the insurance sector, and support households and businesses in facing everyday risks. This operation reflects our desire to provide concrete solutions tailored to local realities,” he said.<\/p>\n

Beyond geographical expansion, the establishment in Niger aims to actively contribute to the structuring of the local insurance market, promote insurance culture, and support the development of the national economic fabric.<\/p>\n

The acquisition also paves the way for significant synergies between the Group’s banks and its insurance entities in the UMOA area. The development of bancassurance solutions, the integration of customer journeys, the sharing of commercial and operational expertise, as well as better coverage of the needs of Retail, SMEs, and Corporate clients are among the strategic priorities.<\/p>\n

Yao Kouassi, CEO of the Group, emphasized, “Our strategy is based on a transformation centered on customer experience and the development of simple, accessible, and high-value-added products. With Vista Assurances Niger, we aim to build a local player capable of raising market standards while remaining deeply rooted in its environment.”<\/p>\n
