The Regional Mortgage Refinancing Company of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (CRRH-UEMOA) announces the entry of three new subsidiaries of the Coris Group into its capital: Coris Bank International Benin, Coris Bank International Togo, and Coris Bank International Senegal. These new participations bring the total number of Coris Group subsidiaries present in the shareholding of CRRH-UEMOA to five, alongside Coris Bank International SA in Burkina Faso and Coris Bank International Ivory Coast, already shareholders since 2016.<\/p>\n<p>With these new participations, the Coris Group represents 3.5% of the capital of CRRH-UEMOA and becomes the 6th banking group shareholder of CRRH-UEMOA. Following the capital entry operation, the institution counts 64 commercial banks shareholders from all eight UEMOA countries, alongside its institutional partners such as BOAD, IFC, BIDC, and Shelter Afrique Development Bank.<\/p>\n<p>Coris Bank International, a partner serving housing in UEMOA<\/p>\n<p>Partners for nearly a decade, CRRH-UEMOA and the Coris Group share the same ambition: to facilitate access to housing for households. Since 2016, this collaboration has enabled the granting of housing loans, contributing to the construction of housing for households in UEMOA countries.<\/p>\n<p>These concrete results illustrate the social impact of the partnership and its role in reducing the housing deficit within the UEMOA zone.<\/p>\n<p>A new step to amplify regional impact<\/p>\n<p>The entry of Coris Bank International Benin, Togo, and Senegal subsidiaries marks a new step in strengthening cooperation between CRRH-UEMOA and the Coris Group.<\/p>\n<p>The new subsidiaries will benefit from solutions developed by CRRH-UEMOA to support their real estate loan portfolios and promote financial inclusion in their respective countries.<\/p>\n<p>This development will better cover all markets within the Union and increase the reach of housing financing for the benefit of populations.<\/p>\n<p>Statements from leaders<\/p>\n<p>Madame Yedau OGOUNDELE, General Director of CRRH-UEMOA, welcomed this major advancement: &#8220;The entry of these three new subsidiaries of the Coris Group illustrates the renewed confidence of a historical partner in our mission and our model. Since its inception, it has mobilized over 475 billion CFA francs, financing over 100,000 households.
