The lawyer and business law practitioner, Me Alain F\u00e9n\u00e9non, announces the publication of the second edition of his reference book entitled Guide for Directors and Administrators of Companies in Ohada Law. This updated version is part of a context of strengthening corporate governance standards in the OHADA (Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa) area.<\/p>\n

This revised and expanded edition includes several new developments. It notably devotes a chapter to mechanisms for resolving disputes between directors, administrators, and companies, and introduces concepts that are still relatively unexplored in African company law such as professional ethics, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and the ethics of governance bodies.<\/p>\n

Designed as a practical tool for business leaders, corporate officers, administrators, lawyers, and in-house legal counsel operating in Africa or engaging in legal and commercial relationships with the continent, the guide aims to facilitate the understanding of the complex rules of harmonized company law in the 17 OHADA member states.<\/p>\n

The publication of Me F\u00e9n\u00e9non’s new book comes at a time of constant evolution of OHADA law and is part of an effort to disseminate the applicable business law on the African continent.<\/p>\n
