Azule Energy has confirmed Angola’s first major offshore natural gas discovery after drilling the Gajajeira-01 well in the lower Congo basin. According to information from the Angolan Ministry of Hydrocarbons, the discovered well contains over 1,000 billion cubic feet of gas and 100 million barrels of condensate. This colossal discovery could boost Angola’s ambitions to develop its LNG industry and attract new investors.
