The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and Danone, a leading player in nutrition in Africa, announce the signing of an agreement making Danone an Official Partner of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (CAN), Morocco 2025 and the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (Women’s CAN), Morocco 2024, which will take place in July and December 2025.<\/p>\n

This partnership strengthens Danone’s commitment to promoting health through nutrition on the African continent, where sport and nutrition play an essential role at all ages of life.<\/p>\n

A concrete presence at the heart of the competitions<\/p>\n

Building on its legacy from the Paris 2024 Games, Danone reaffirms its commitment to health through nutrition and sport. Present in Africa for decades, Danone is proud to be associated today with these two iconic competitions that bring together all generations around values of closeness, transmission, and celebration, in perfect resonance with those of the group.<\/p>\n

As an Official Partner, Danone will share its expertise in nutrition at all ages of life, providing dairy products to over 10,000 volunteers, 5,000 accredited journalists, as well as officials and team members involved in these two major sporting events. Products will also be available in stadiums and official fan zones, offering spectators a quality nutritional experience close to the action. Key brands from Danone’s African portfolio – Danone, FanMilk, Dan’Up, NutriDay, and Jamila – will be highlighted throughout the competitions through engaging campaigns and activations aimed at the public.<\/p>\n

The Women’s CAN will take place in Morocco from July 5 to 26, 2025, followed by the Men’s CAN from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.<\/p>\n

A long-term commitment to youth<\/p>\n

Beyond the fields, Danone is committed alongside CAF as part of its Pan-African School Program with the development of educational kits for young school footballers to promote the importance of a balanced diet and regular physical activity from a young age. This initiative follows in the footsteps of the Danone Nations Cup, an international children’s football tournament organized by Danone for over 20 years.<\/p>\n
