This is the first scholarship specifically aimed at students from Arab countries at Tsinghua University. Its objective is to strengthen Sino-Arab relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the top Chinese universities, Tsinghua University is renowned for its excellence in technology and engineering, often compared to MIT. Founded in 1911, it has 20 faculties and 90 undergraduate programs, covering a wide range of disciplines. Tsinghua graduates make significant contributions to China&#8217;s economic, cultural, scientific, and technological development and beyond. The current Chinese president, Xi Jinping, is himself a graduate of this university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;For over a thousand years, the Arab region and China have been linked by dynamic exchanges of goods, knowledge, and cultural dialogue. By giving bright Arab students the opportunity to study at Tsinghua, a beacon of academic excellence in China, we aspire to develop leaders who will perpetuate this spirit of curiosity and centuries-old collaboration, making Sino-Arab relations a model of cooperation in an increasingly fragmented world.
