With\u00a0 a lifting capacity of 40 tonnes, this equipment will increase the storage capacity of containers\u00a0 in the yards and help to improve the fluidity of all operations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These machines will add to an already well-stocked fleet comprising 8 STS quayside gantry\u00a0 cranes, 26 RTG yard gantry cranes, 5 mobile cranes and 11 reachstackers. Congo Terminal\u00a0 expects 3 more RTGs by the end of 2025.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2018<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The purchase of this new equipment and the construction of a new port platform at the East\u00a0 Mole demonstrate our commitment to supporting the country&#8217;s competitiveness and the\u00a0 development of trade in the region<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,\u2019 explains Sandrine WAMY, Congo Terminal Operations\u00a0 Manager.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The company is continuing its investment program to make Pointe-Noire the benchmark deep water port and the transhipment platform of excellence for the entire southern part of the West\u00a0 African coast.
