The&nbsp; customer was delighted with the quality of the work delivered and the professionalism of the&nbsp; teams.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018<em>This award reflects the key role Congo Terminal plays in promoting excellence, innovation and&nbsp; sustainability in our supply chain<\/em>,\u2019 said Ranusha Gayan, RME Procurement at Hapag-Lloyd.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018<em>This recognition highlights our operational excellence, which is reflected in the continuous&nbsp; growth of our performance and the commitment of our teams. It shows just how ready we are,&nbsp; with the forthcoming commissioning of the East Mole, to receive the largest container ships on&nbsp; the market and to offer space to every shipowner who wants to come to Pointe-Noire<\/em>,\u2019 says&nbsp; Anthony Samzun, General Manager of Congo Terminal.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the exclusive operator of the Pointe-Noire container terminal, Congo Terminal has&nbsp; transformed the port platform. The volumes handled have risen from 200,000 TEU at the start&nbsp; of the concession in 2009 to more than 1,000,000 TEU since 2023. The company employs&nbsp; nearly 900 permanent staff. In 2024, it began work on the construction of a new terminal on&nbsp; the East Mole.
