This&nbsp; delicate task will enable the country to maintain its commitment to the population and economic&nbsp; operators. Intra-city rail transport is one of the most economical and secure solutions for transporting&nbsp; people and goods.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Imported from Belgium, each locomotive weighs 68.5 tonnes and measures 16.9 m long, 2.8 m wide&nbsp; and 4.20 m high. It has a tractive power of 1200 hp. Once the customs formalities had been completed,&nbsp; allowing the equipment to be made available to the CFCO customer quickly, AGL Congo&#8217;s teams put&nbsp; their expertise to work to unload and put the oversized equipment on rail, using the appropriate lifting&nbsp; equipment and the dexterity of the drivers. As a leading multimodal logistics operator (port, maritime,&nbsp; logistics and rail) in Congo, AGL offers its customers tailor-made solutions that adhere to international&nbsp; safety standards.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<em>Our ambition is to continue to invest in the acquisition of locomotives to enhance rail transport. These&nbsp; 4 locomotives will add to our fleet, increasing our capacity<\/em>\u201d, explains Honor\u00e9 SAYI, Minister of Transport,&nbsp; Civil Aviation and the Merchant Navy.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are using our logistics expertise to support economic growth and the development of the Pointe Noire\/Brazzaville rail corridor.
