Africa Global Logistics (AGL) is launching the call for applications for the “Accelerate” program of the Yiri Innovation Center, open from June 19, 2024 to July 26, 2024, in Abidjan. This open innovation program dedicated to startups developing technological solutions in key or related sectors of the AGL Group (logistics, transport, digital, etc.) aims to accelerate their growth through expert coaching, training and events within its innovation center. The objective of this program is to support startups in the seed or growth phase and to promote partnerships with the AGL Group, through support adapted to their needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Accelerate” is aimed at startups that have already built their offer, established their identity and business model, and possibly have a first customer base. The call for applications is open to the logistics, maritime, rail and port industries as a priority, but projects from emerging sectors such as HR tech, cybersecurity, fintech, edtech, mobitech, greentech, legathech and digital services are also accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be selected, interested startups must be domiciled in Africa or address the African market. They must also be available during the six months of the program and not participate in another program at the same time. Applications can be made online, at https:\/\/tally.so\/r\/wQDqP8 <\/a>or https:\/\/www.aglgroup.com\/innovation\/. <\/a>The selection phase includes the opening and closing of the call for applications on July 26, 2024, the interview with the pre-selected startups, the final selection committee and the big start of the first cohort scheduled for mid-September, at the Yiri innovation center in Abidjan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“If your startup operates in the maritime, port, rail, logistics, or any other innovative field, we are ready to explore thehorizons of your potential<\/em>. We willstudy allprojects withregardto their suitability for our challenges: digitalization of logistics processes, dematerialization, optimization of operational and administrative processes in the logistics value chain. <\/em>“, explained Fatou Diomand\u00e9, Head of the Yiri Innovation Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Successful applicants will benefit from an initial diagnosis, two sprints of three months each, and a mid-term pitch day to assess progress. Applications are open from June 20 to the end of July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
