Financial Afrik (www.financialafrik.com)<\/strong>, a multi-platform media outlet covering economic and financial information, announces its certification under the “Journalism Trust Initiative” (JTI), a project initiated by the international NGO Reporters Without Borders and designed as an international ISO professional standard. With this certification, Financial Afrik and its English counterpart, Kapital Afrik (www.kapitalafrik.com<\/strong>), mark a new stage in their development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This certification is the result of a process based on a questionnaire with several questions per section. The responses provided by the management and journalists of the editorial team to an audit structure are made public on the JTI platform (jti-app.com) in its transparency report. The process evaluates, among other things, the media’s professionalism, editorial organization, policies for the protection of sources and journalists, the nature of funding, independence of governance, and legal organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
