In September 2022, Bollor\u00e9 Transport & Logistics Cote d\u2019Ivoire will inaugurate a modern logistics base\u00a0 with a total area of 9,000 m<\/span>2<\/span>, in the airport area of Abidjan. Designed to strengthen its offer of services\u00a0 linked to the import and export of goods by air, this new infrastructure will have required 18 months of\u00a0 work and an investment of 3.4 billion CFA francs.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Connected to the international airport and the city of Abidjan, the logistics hub will include a 7,500 m<\/span>2<\/span> operating area and 1,500 m<\/span>2 <\/span>of office space. It will also contain a 3,500 m<\/span>2 <\/span>warehouse with modern\u00a0 equipment such as a weighbridge, a dock leveller, a palletisation system and a cold room.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Further developments are planned within this new platform to facilitate packaging of pharmaceutical\u00a0 products and provide value-added storage for all types of freight, including <\/span>perishable goods destined <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>for the Ivorian market or <\/span>European countries. These services will be provided by the conventional freight\u00a0 and express transport teams located close to the operating sites.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span>This investment is part of the structuring projects to which we have been committed for several years, <\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/i>aiming at modernising the logistics infrastructure in C\u00f4te d’Ivoire. Present in C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire in transport, logistics and stevedoring, Bollor\u00e9 Transport & Logistics currently\u00a0 has over 1,500 Ivorian employees, working notably at its agencies in Abidjan, San Pedro, Bouak\u00e9,\u00a0 Ferkess\u00e9dougou and Ouangolodougou. The company contributes actively to the development of C\u00f4te\u00a0 d\u2019Ivoire, and invests in the upskilling of its employees.
