The CFO, Kingsley Muwowo, will take over until the announcement of the vacancy of power and the appointment of a new director.<\/p>\n<p>This is what emerges from a tense board meeting held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 and which continued late into the evening. Of Zimbabwean origin, Andrew Chimphondah saw his management splashed by a series of scandals which led to the shortening of his mandate which would run until 2024. The scandals revealed by Financial Afrik are also at the origin of the dismissal of former Chairman of the Board, Dr. Steve Mainda, in December 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Already the subject of a motion of censure dated January 31 and signed by 7 executive directors, the managing director was therefore let go by the board of directors. Its only support, the Cameroonian Minister of Housing and Urban Development, C\u00e9lestine Ketcha Court\u00e8s, who seized the council by mail late at night, undoubtedly alerted by the Cameroonian administrator present in the board, could not change the course of things and postpone the decision to leave or stay until the general assemblies that the principal concerned wanted to hold next July in his country, Zimbabwe, with a view to hypothetical diplomatic support.
