The new hotel is expected to start welcoming guests in 2022<\/em><\/p>\n

N\u2019Djamena, Chad January 25, 2022: Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced that it has signed an agreement with Wotf Turizm Ticaret Anonim Sirketi for the opening of Hilton N\u2019Djamena Touma\u00ef Palace, Chad. This latest signature of the company in an African city is located in the 2nd district of N\u2019Djamena, in the international business center and 600 m from the international airport of N\u2019Djamena (NDJ).<\/p>\n

Andrew McLachlan, Managing Director, Sub-Saharan Africa Development at Hilton, said: \u201cIt is a proud moment for us to return to Chad with a flagship Hilton property in a prime location in the commercial center from the country. This area of \u200b\u200bN’Djamena is well known to travelers and once open, the new Hilton hotel will offer best-in-class facilities and renowned Hilton hospitality. We are focused on growing our portfolio across the continent, with N’djamena being a major destination for travelers to North-Central Africa. \u00bb<\/p>\n

The Hilton N’Djamena Touma\u00ef Palace hotel will feature 230 rooms, including 19 extended-stay suites and a presidential suite. The property will offer several dining outlets, including a specialty restaurant and a spectacular sky bar, as well as a lobby bar and lounge. Meeting spaces will include a private lounge, six individual meeting rooms and a banquet hall. The hotel will also have an outdoor swimming pool and high-end fitness facilities.<\/p>\n

Mr. Bulut Ba\u011fc\u0131, Director of Wotf Turizm Ticaret Anonim Sirketi, said, \u201cIt is very exciting to partner with Hilton for this new project in Chad. We are confident that the property will set the standard for modern, upscale accommodation in N’Djamena as the first choice for travelers arriving in Chad for business and leisure. Hilton has more than 100 hotels in operation or under development in destinations across Africa, including properties under its flagship Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand in Nairobi, Addis Ababa, Yaound\u00e9 and Johannesburg. In 2021, Hilton opened the luxurious Mango House Seychelles, LXR Hotels and Resorts, and added properties to its program, including Waldorf Astoria Platte Island and Canopy by Hilton Mah\u00e9 in Seychelles.<\/p>\n
