{"id":474684,"date":"2021-12-08T11:23:06","date_gmt":"2021-12-08T11:23:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kapitalafrik.com\/?p=474684"},"modified":"2021-12-08T11:23:06","modified_gmt":"2021-12-08T11:23:06","slug":"cemac-115-subscription-rate-for-the-bdeac-bond-loan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.financialafrik.com\/en\/2021\/12\/08\/cemac-115-subscription-rate-for-the-bdeac-bond-loan\/","title":{"rendered":"CEMAC: 115% subscription rate for the BDEAC bond loan"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"pdfprnt-buttons pdfprnt-buttons-post pdfprnt-top-bottom-left\"><\/div><p>The bond loan by Public Call for Savings (APE) issued by the Development Bank of Central African States (BDEAC) called &#8220;BDEAC 5.60% 2021-2028&#8221; was closed on December 7, 2021 with the mobilization of 115 billion FCFA, or nearly 198 million dollars, with an overall subscription rate of 115% compared to the initial amount of 100 billion FCFA, or 172 million dollars.<\/p>\n<p>As with the previous loan launched in 2020, we noted a strong mobilization of economic agents with variables in the countries of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC) with the banks largely in the lead. In detail, the banks have subscribed up to 102 billion FCFA, which represents 89.37% of the overall operation. Then follow, individuals, 4.27%, pension organizations 2.61%, asset managers and investment funds 1.22%, other legal entities 1.45%, insurance companies 0.81% and pension funds 0.28%.<\/p>\n<p>The president of BDEAC, Fortunato-Ofa Mbo Nchama paid tribute to all the subscribers, which testifies to the interest of investors for the development of the sub-region of which this financial institution remains a reference partner for the promotion regional integration, thus confirming its credibility and commitment to community development.<\/p>\n<p>The operation which will be listed on the Central African Securities Exchange (BVMAC) coast from January 2022 was arranged by the consortium of co-lead brokerage firms Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale Capital Securities Central Africa, Attijari Securities Central Africa, Upline Securities Central Africa and AFG Capital Central Africa approved by the Central African Financial Market Supervisory Commission (COSUMAF).<\/p>\n<p>The first loan of 100 billion FCFA made it possible to raise nearly 107 billion FCFA ($ 196 million) during the subscription period from December 21 to 29, 2020. BDEAC has programmed three bond issues for a total amount of CFAF 300 billion ($ 523 million) until 2022.
