The measure, it is indicated, will be effective from this Thursday, November 25.<\/p>\n<p>The country thus joins some fifty countries around the world which are now connected to the EU&#8217;s Covid digital certificate system, which brings together 27 countries. Concretely, it is specified, Togolese travelers who are fully vaccinated and have the new certificate will now be able to access places subject to presentation of the Covid-19 vaccination certificate in European space. Likewise, travelers with a European Covid -19 vaccination certificate can present it in Togo in places where this certificate is required.<\/p>\n<p>With more than 500,000 people fully vaccinated and almost a million people partially vaccinated, Togo has a vaccination rate of 12%. The government, in an attempt to achieve collective immunity, had banned access to public buildings and services to all unvaccinated people since mid-September, which has accelerated the pace of the vaccination campaign that began last March.
