A dynamism which should result, according to the IMF, by a gain of 5.3 points, in only two years, for the country.<\/p>\n<p>On the continent, Senegal ranks in the top three economies with the highest growth rate behind Mozambique (12.6%) and ahead of Niger (10.4%).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These three countries, which must record a double-digit growth rate, all have one thing in common, that is to say the discovery and the active phase of the exploitation of hydrocarbons for the year 2023&#8221;, notes the report.<\/p>\n<p>Still in its projections, the IMF stresses that some countries, new hydrocarbon producers will follow this trio, in particular Mauritania with a rate of 8.6%. Rwanda with a projection of 8.1% in terms of growth rate is also one of the best performances for 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The World Economic Outlook database presents staff analysis and projections for global economic developments. It is published in April and September \/ October of each year.
