The latter implicates &#8220;soldiers&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>As for Prime Minister Abdallah Hamdok, he is announced under house arrest by unofficial sources. Information later confirmed by the Information Ministry, which cites him among the personalities under arrest.<\/p>\n<p>For its part, the Alliance for Freedom and Change, spearheading the protests that led to the fall of former President Omar El Bashir, denounces a &#8220;coup&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>These events take place after weeks of tension between civil and military authorities.
