For their part, medium-term loans amounted to to CFAF 9,797.1 billion, up 9.0%, year on year against 32.1% in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>As for long-term loans, they amounted to CFAF 1,094.3 billion, registering an increase of 7.2% in 2020 against 12.2% in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>As far as they are concerned, finance lease operations reached CFAF 262 billion, growing by 14.2%, year on year, at the end of December 2020 against 39.0% a year earlier.<\/p>\n<p>Officials from the Commission Bancaire report that the net bad debts amounted to CFAF 957.2 billion, a decline of 12.2% over the year 2020 against an increase of 2.2% in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The investment securities of the WAMU banking system amounted to CFAF 10,749.1 billion at the end of the period under review, an increase of CFAF 2,277.9 billion or 26.9% over the year. against 16.6% in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>As for financial fixed assets, they are evaluated at 237.8 billion FCFA at the end of 2020, an increase of 10.4 billion (+ 4.6%).
