Since 2011, this is the very first time that this prerogative has been detached from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. However, Yolande Makolo will remain under the supervision of MINAFFET where she will have her offices.<\/p>\n<p>This appointment was announced by the Prime Minister, Dr Edouard Ngirente, on Saturday July 31. A graduate of McGill University, Yolande Makolo takes office after having acquired a great experience in the high state sphere of Rwanda.<\/p>\n<p>Close to Janette Kagame, the wife of the president of Rwanda, Yolande Makolo has successively held the post of press attach\u00e9 in the office of the president of Rwanda, director general in charge of communication for the presidency. She was also the media affairs coordinator in the senior office and adviser to President Kagame on media affairs.
