FCFA at an annual interest rate of 6.40% over a period of 7 years.<\/p>\n<p>Following this authorization, the leaders of EBID proceeded during the period from May 28 to June 26, 2019 to launch the subscription with 2.5 million bonds issued at a price of 10,000 FCFA. The operation was a great success.<\/p>\n<p>The funds raised were intended to finance seven projects located in six countries of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA). This included the construction project of a 120 MW thermal power station at Maria Gl\u00e9ta in Benin with a support of CFAF 5 billion from EBID.
