Regarding the outstanding deposits made at the level of DFIs by customers, they increased by 8.89% to 395.364 billion FCFA against 363.081 billion FCFA at the end of March 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the quality of the MFI portfolio, it deteriorated at the end of March 2021. The rate of bad debts increased by 3.24 percentage points, from 6.29% in March 2020 to 9 , 53% in March 2021. It remains above the maximum standard of 3% (portfolio at risk at 90 days) decreed by the prudential system. As of March 31, 2021, decentralized financial systems had a membership of 3,413,260 compared to 3,474,360 as of March 31, 2020, a slight decline of 1.75%.
