(Kongo Central), Goma (North Kivu) and Lubumbashi (Haut-Katanga). This consortium responsible for implementing the program will invite SMEs to sign a performance contract. Then, the first disbursement of funds will take place for the implementation of the selected business plans.<\/p>\n<p>The project provides support to SMEs operating in the agro-processing, light industry and value-added services sectors.<\/p>\n<p>Coordinated by PADMPME, a Congolese government initiative through the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and SMEs, COPA \/ PME is funded by the World Bank. Its mission is to help tackle the obstacles that hinder the development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, particularly concerning limited access to finance, poor infrastructure, the skills gap and the lack of manpower. of qualified.
