The year 2020 was marked, in C\u00f4te d’Ivoire as in the rest of the world, by an economic and health crisis, due to the explosion of the COVID19 pandemic.
\nIn this context, it seemed important to us, for this year 2021 which should correspond to a pivotal year, to lay the groundwork which would allow an effective exit from the crisis for the Ivory Coast.<\/p>\n

This edition of the Country Risk Conferences will thus place particular emphasis on the impacts of the health crisis on the economy and on populations; the various panels will also discuss, and this is the most interesting, the avenues and models to be put in place in order to support the economic recovery in this very specific context.<\/p>\n

We have established, during previous editions of the CRP, the quality of the fundamentals of the Ivory Coast. However, the health crisis of 2020 is exceptional in several respects, and in particular by its transversal impact on the economies of the various countries.
\nThe question of the resilience of the Ivory Coast, and of its capacity to absorb all the shocks generated by this crisis, on the various sectors of activity, is thus posed.<\/p>\n

For the various panels, it will therefore be a question of illustrating the resilience of C\u00f4te d’Ivoire, and of demonstrating how it is able to support the economic recovery anticipated for this year 2021 in order to resume strong growth.
\nThe Ivory Coast crisis exit plan will thus be presented and discussed.<\/p>\n

It should be understood that the country risk mapping aims to present, in a detailed manner, the strengths and weaknesses of C\u00f4te d’Ivoire and other countries elsewhere whose conferences are in the program, and to assign a score for each of the parameters analyzed.
\nThese various parameters, which are subject to variations in economic conditions and the plans implemented, may therefore experience changes, positive, negative or stable, over a period.<\/p>\n

This is why we believe that country risk mapping should be dynamic and be the subject of an annual review. The CRPs thus constitute the ideal framework for the presentation of this mapping, which will constitute, as every year, the introductory phase for the panel discussions.<\/p>\n

This 5th edition of the CRP, like the others for that matter, is aimed at an audience of experts, politicians, diplomats, civil society actors, economic actors, company captains, ‘students. The target is made up of all people with an interest in economic issues, and who would like to participate in high-level discussions on these issues.<\/p>\n

Country risk mapping is an important tool for forecasting and helping with investment decisions.
\nThus, it is important for the various economic actors to have an analysis of the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities of the country, prepared by specialists, which will allow them to eventually take decisions.<\/p>\n

This 5th edition of the CRP is of particular interest because it will allow the presentation of C\u00f4te d’Ivoire’s crisis exit plan, as well as its structural transformation program, in this post-Covid context.<\/p>\n

This will be an opportunity for our participants to intervene by directly posing their concerns to the experts present on the various panels.<\/p>\n
